South Africans converged at FNB stadium last Sunday to pray for the economy and unity. This is really making a mockery of God. God must as well come to Earth, deal with corruption and set legislation that would petrify racists. This is analogous to two soccerites; a goalkeeper and a player taking a penalty shot both making a sign of Trinity asking for divine intervention. With arch-bishop emeritus Tutu it has been his logic of doing things but not the others whose presence was to bolster their image for the imminent election due in December. This is Bishop Tutu's mode of doing things, it's understandable. In the 80s he called for fasting to combat apartheid. Our take in the PAC was that fasting is for those with food.

The country needs to recoup all the monies acquired fraudulently, denationalize the Guptas and the like-minded leeches not those who committed peccadilloes like Mos Def, prosecute venal skunks like Jacob ala Joe Ndhlela of Transnet then pray.

"Put Your Trust In God But Remember To Lock Your Car, God is not going to lock it for you."
